Community Reponse Protocol: A Coordinated and Collaborative Response to Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence in Grey and Bruce2011-11-25 13:00 Etc/GMT-5 The Community Response Protocol for a Coordinated and Collaborative Response to Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence was launched November 25th at the Plex in Port Elgin. Thirty-four (34) partner agencies will sign off on a comprehensive protocol to enhance the safety of victims of violence, hold perpetrators accountable and prevent further violence and abuse in Grey and Bruce Counties. The Protocol was developed by an intersector Protocol Committee that also developed new tools for community partners: A comprehensive Safety Planning Tool, a Risk Assessment Tool, and an information flyer that sets out community resources and an overview of the community response process. The Community Repsonse Protocol is posted her on the website for use by all Partner agencies and their staff. Training workshops will take place in January and February 2012.
