H.E.R. (Hope\, Equality\, Respect) Grey Bruce is organizing a 'slut walk' in Owen Sound on May 25th as part of Sexual Assault Prevention activities in the month of May. Slut Walk marches began in 2011 to denounce the message of a Toronto police officer who said women who don't want to be sexually assault should avoid dressing like sluts. Organizers said "\;It doesn't matter who you are or how you dress\, those are not the reasons that sexual violence takes place"\;.
